Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire last night at an Israeli settlement in the north of al-Khalil while violent clashes broke out in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources resistance fighters carried out a shooting operation against the illegal settlement of Bat Ayin near Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile Palestinian youths clashed with Israeli police forces in al-Thuri neighborhood in east Jerusalem.
Local sources said that police officers fired tear gas canisters stun grenades and live and rubber bullets at a group of young men in al-Thuri who responded by throwing firecrackers.
Eight Palestinian citizens were also kidnaped by the Israeli occupation forces during overnight raids in different West Bank areas.
Earlier police forces kidnaped a Palestinian young man after injuring him during night clashes with local youths in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan.
On Saturday the Israeli police kidnaped a young man outside the Aqsa Mosque and two Jerusalemite citizens a father and his son from their home in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan.
