The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Wednesday morning three Palestinian students as they were celebrating their graduation from high school in the Old City of Jerusalem and four foreign activists in southern al-Khalil.
According to local sources Israeli police officers kidnaped three students celebrating their success in the high school exams in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile the Israeli police intensified the presence of their forces across the holy city to disrupt any celebrations held in public places by high school students and their families.
In a separate incident another Palestinian citizen was detained with no known reason by police officers during his presence near the Bab al-Amud plaza in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In al-Khalil one citizen suffered injuries and four foreign activists were arrested after Israeli soldiers stormed the house of local activist Hafed al-Harini in at-Tuwani village in Masafer Yatta area.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces raided the house as activist Harini was receiving well-wishers who came to offer congratulations on the graduation of his son from high school.
They added that the soldiers arrested four foreign activists and assaulted a number of attendees including Palestinian activist Nasser al-Adra who was rushed to Yatta Hospital for medical assistance.
The IOF also set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of at-Tuwani village.
