Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq has said that the approval of a protest in Sweden that involved the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran constitutes a clear violation of divine laws and international conventions and a racist act.
In a press statement on Friday Resheq stressed that burning a copy of the Holy Quran is an action that spreads hatred and provokes the feelings of Muslims all over the world.
Resheq reiterated his strong condemnation of this abhorrent act calling for prohibiting such actions conducted in the name of freedom.
