Sheikh Najeh Bakirat deputy head of the Islamic AwqafAdministration in Occupied Jerusalem has called for continuing to visit theAqsa Mosque more frequently and maintaining intensive Muslim presence in itscourtyards to protect it against any Israeli attempt to Judaize it.
&ldquoThe Israeli occupation systematically targets JerusalemCity and seeks to Judaize its landmarks and landscape. It also takes advantageof the Zionist holidays and events to impose its control over the Aqsa Mosque&rdquoSheikh Bakirat said in press remarks.
He expressed his regret and dismay at the passivity of theArab and Muslim nations towards the Israeli violations at the Aqsa Mosquestressing the need to expose such violations at the Islamic holy site.
Recently the Israeli occupation authority banished Sheikh Bakiratfrom Jerusalem to Bethlehem as part of systematic persecution he is exposed tobecause of his positions in support of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
