The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed last night and at dawn Sunday different areas of the West Bank and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens amid clashes with local youths in some areas.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in al-Mughayyir village in the northeast of Ramallah.
The IOF also kidnaped a young man from his home in Qaffin town northeast of Tulkarem and clashed with local youths.
Another young man was taken prisoner by Israeli police forces in Anata town northeast of Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation army for its part claimed its forces arrested five Palestinians during dawn raids in the West Bank.
Meanwhile a horde of extremist Jewish settlers infiltrated at dawn into the village of al-Mughayyir and set fire to a Palestinian car. They also slashed tires of eight other vehicles and spray-painted anti-Arab graffiti on some walls.
Another group of settlers launched attacks on homes yesterday under military protection in the villages of Urif and Salem in Nablus and al-Mazra&rsquoa al-Qibliya in Ramallah.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers opened fire at local youths as they tried to fend off settler attacks in the villages.
