The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested four fishermen after attacking their boat off Al-Sudaniyya shores northwest of the Gaza Strip on Monday morning.
Local sources affirmed that Israeli gunboats surrounded the boat and opened fire at the fishermen on board.
The fishermen all of them brothers were later arrested and taken to an unknown destination.
Fishing is one of the biggest industries in the coastal enclave which is home to some 2 million Palestinians.
Israel has maintained its crippling blockade of the Gaza Strip since 2007 in what human rights groups say is collective punishment of the impoverished residents.
