Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning and later in the afternoon.
According to al-Qastal News website at least 245 settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection.
A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the Mosque and harassed a number of them during their presence in its courtyards and the entrances leading to it.
Recently the Jerusalemite Youth Movement has called on the Palestinian masses to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque in the coming days to protect the holy site against any possible desecration by Jewish settlers who intend to stage a flag march next Wednesday around the Mosque to mark what they call the destruction of the temple.
They called for making the day of the Israeli march in Occupied Jerusalem &ldquoa day of Palestinian anger in support of Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.&rdquo
