The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has hailed the final statement issued during the national meeting that took place in Gaza and Ramallah on Sunday.
According to Haneyya the national meeting demonstrated the collective will of the Palestinian people both at home and abroad calling for the creation of a thorough national strategy to combat “the Israeli fascist government.”
In light of these existential issues Cairo’s upcoming meeting should mark the beginning of a new phase by developing a national strategy based on comprehensive resistance and a political shift in dealing with the enemy the Hamas leader said in a statement on Sunday evening.
Haneyya emphasized the importance of making serious preparations for the meeting’s success including the release of all political prisoners from PA prisons.
