The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) decided on Wednesday to administratively detain Palestinian activist Thamer Saba&rsquona a noted specialist in prisoners&rsquo affairs for six renewable months.
Saba&rsquona had been taken prisoner by Israeli occupation forces at a makeshift checkpoint in Jenin one day after he participated in a sit-in staged in solidarity with senior Hamas official Mustafa Abu Arra &mdash who was kidnaped recently by the Palestinian Authority preventive security apparatus and was released a few days later after his health worsened.
Saba&rsquona who is also a noted writer had spent over 10 years in Israeli jails. He had also been summoned and interrogated by PA security forces several times.
