The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank at dawn Monday.
Local sources affirmed that violent raids were carried out in al-Khalil Jenin and Salfit where several homes were stormed and searched.
A number of Palestinians were detained during the raids including leaders in Hamas Movement for allegedly being involved in popular resistance activities.
Two Palestinians were detained in Jenin including an ex-prisoner while three others were rounded up in al-Khalil.
Meanwhile clashes erupted in Sa&rsquoir town in al-Khalil after it was stormed by Israeli forces.
Similar clashes broke out in Mughayyir village in Ramallah amid heavy firing of teargas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets.
Several tear-gas inhalation cases were reported during the clashes.
In Tubas the IOF stormed Tammun town after resistance fighters opened fire at an Israeli force on the outskirts of the city.
Violent clashes also erupted overnight in Jabal Mukaber town in Occupied Jerusalem.
In al-Khalil clashes erupted in Shuyukh al-Aroub village while raids were carried out in Ma’in village near Yatta.
