The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers has warned of the Israeli occupation state’s persistence in its violations against the Aqsa Mosque.
At the conclusion of the council’s 18th special session the foreign ministers adopted a statement condemning the ongoing Israeli violations and provocations at the Aqsa Mosque as a &ldquograve breach of the international law and unprecedented tampering with the current historical and legal status quo.&rdquo
Their statement also deplored the repeated desecration of the Aqsa Mosque by far-right security minister Itamar Ben Gvir government officials and Knesset members describing such practices as &ldquoacts of provocation against the Muslim nation.&rdquo
