The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Wednesday several Palestinian citizens and clashed with resistance fighters during raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources Israeli forces clashed with resistance fighters after they stormed Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho and encircled a house to arrest a wanted young man.
Four young men were reportedly kidnaped during the IOF raid in Aqabat Jabr camp.
The IOF also kidnaped two brothers from the family of Asakra after ransacking their home in Bethlehem and four citizens during raids on homes in Dura town south of al-Khalil.
In east Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped two young men from their homes in Anata town.
In a separate incident three Palestinian citizens were injured and dozens suffered from inhaling tear gas last night when Israeli forces stormed the eastern area of Nablus City.
According to the Palestinian health ministry one of the wounded citizens was critically injured in his abdomen.
Red Crescent ambulance crews also evacuated a mother and her infant from their home in Amman street in Nablus after it was showered with tear gas canisters.
The Red Crescent said that the IOF opened fire at a car carrying a pregnant woman and prevented one of its ambulances from reaching her during the events in Nablus.
Local sources said that dozens of young men blocked roads in the eastern area with rocks containers and burning tires and confronted Israeli soldiers and their patrol vehicles by throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at them.
The skirmishes started after Israeli troops aboard military vehicles including a bulldozer stormed the eastern area of Nablus and spread through its streets in order to provide protection for buses and cars carrying dozens of settlers who came for rituals at Joseph’s Tomb.
Meanwhile resistance fighters opened fire at the Israeli forces and detonated explosive devices at their vehicles before the settlers managed to reach Joseph’s Tomb under military escort.
