43 digital rights violations and censorship by social media companies were reported against Palestinians and Palestine-related content in July 2023 the Sada Social Center for Palestinian Digital Rights revealed Thursday.
The center monitored 27 digital violations on Meta platforms 17 violations on Facebook 5 violations on WhatsApp and 3 violations on Instagram.
The center clarified that two violations against Palestinian content were documented on Threads which was launched only a month ago and 13 on Twitter.
Several posts were taken down on social media platforms without prior notice or a reason provided the center added.
