A Palestinian child was seriously injured on Sunday evening after a Jewish settler ran over him to the east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Local sources identified the child as four-year-old Jibril Sawarkah.
The sources underlined that the settler ran over him in Kisan village and fled the scene.
They added that Sawarkah was transferred to Bethlehem Arab Society Hospital in Beit Jala city west of Bethlehem to receive treatment.
For its part the Wall and Settlements Resistance Commission pointed out that Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers carried out 897 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their properties last July.
