The committee of the families of political prisoners has condemned the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services for carrying out attacks and launching arrest campaigns against resistance fighters and activists in the West Bank.
In a press statement on Monday the committee underlined that the PA has been escalating its arrests against Palestinian ex-prisoners adding that ex-prisoners Yasser Yamin and Mahmoud Asida were arrested at dawn today after the PA security forces stormed their houses to the west of the West Bank city of Nablus.
&ldquoThe political prisoner Mosab Ishtayyah has been held in the PA prisons for 323 days although the decision to release him was taken&rdquo the committee underlined.
It demanded the release of all political prisoners pointing out that more than 52 Palestinian citizens are currently held in the PA prisons.
