The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested seven Palestinians in Ramallah in the central West Bank at dawn Monday.
The IOF stormed al-Mughayyir village north of Ramallah and arrested the officer of the Preventive Security Service and leader in the Fatah movement Maher al-Naasan after breaking into his family house.
The IOF also detained a father and his four sons after storming and violently searching their house in Barqa town east of the city.
Another Palestinian was detained in Beit Rima town northwest of Ramallah.
Meanwhile Israeli troops stormed Jenin in large numbers which led to the outbreak of armed clashes.
Local sources affirmed that nearly 30 military vehicles stormed the city via the Al-Jalama checkpoint.
A Palestinian young man was detained during the raid.
Earlier Sunday the IOF killed three Palestinian young men south of the West Bank city of Jenin.
