The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an arrest and raid campaign in several areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Wednesday.
In Occupied Jerusalem a Palestinian young man was detained after being severely beaten at the Qalandia checkpoint while another was rounded up in Biddu town.
In al-Khalil the IOF arrested an ex-prisoner after breaking into Surif town.
Similar raids were also reported in the towns of Halhul and Beit Ummar.
Meanwhile clashes erupted in Zita town north of Tulkarem after it was stormed by IOF troops.
The Israeli occupation army often carries out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
Israel currently holds 4900 Palestinians including 34 women in its jails.
