Palestinian prisoner Nufoud Hammad has revealed that the female prisoners in Damon jail are exposed to ongoing maltreatment punishment and harsh incarceration conditions.
Prisoner Hammad a 15-year-old teenage girl from Occupied Jerusalem recently told a lawyer from the Palestinian Commission of Detainees&rsquo and Ex-Detainees&rsquo Affairs that the Damon administration continues to impose penalties on the female prisoners in the jail and deliberately deprives them of making handicrafts.
Hammad also said that the female prisoners in Damon are also not allowed to receive family visits contact their families buy their essential needs and walk in the prison yard.
The Damon jailers also closed the section of the female prisoners 13 days ago and have not reopened it since then according to Hammad.
Hammad who is still on remand accused the Damon jailers of preventing her of taking the high school exams and not dealing with her case according to the law of detained minors.
