The Israeli authorities demolished on Wednesday a Palestinian house and displaced its residents in Jisr az-Zarqa town in 1948 occupied Palestine.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli police officers cordoned off the area around the house and prevented citizens from approaching it before bulldozers embarked on knocking down the house along with its furniture.
The demolition measure was carried out as the family of Nawal Jarban who owns the house was outside shopping some needs for its son’s wedding which is slated for next Friday.
The owner Nawal Jarban told Arab48 website that the Israeli authorities demolished the house and destroyed all the preparations she made for her son’s wedding affirming that her house was bulldozed without prior notice.
