A horde of extremist Jewish settlers tried at dawn Monday to burn down a Palestinian house and kill its residents in Burin town south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources 12 masked settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar infiltrated into the outskirts of Burin and tried to storm the house of Umm Ayman Sufan in order to set it on fire.
After they failed to climb over the house’s walls the settlers threw firebombs rocks and paint cans at its windows but they failed to set it aflame because there were window grilles.
However a number of windows sustained damage and beehives outside the house were burned in the settler attack.
A family of 10 lives in this house of Umm Ayman who passed away about three years ago.
Yitzhar settlers had already attacked the same house five times before. They torched cars stole sheep and beehives during previous attacks on the house.
