Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has said that the Palestinian people will face the Israeli blockade closures and settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank with more steadfastness and resistance.
&ldquoThere is no political or security solution in the West Bank after the so-called political process has failed and the papers of the Oslo accords have scatted around&rdquo Haneyya said in press remarks to Hamas’s official website on Tuesday.
&ldquoOur people no longer wager on this [political] path which has been detrimental to the Palestinian cause and our historical rights in Palestine&rdquo the Hamas leader added.
The Hamas leader stressed that the Israeli occupation’s ongoing violations in the West Bank and its persistence in its settlement and Judaization policies would be met with more Palestinian steadfastness and resistance.
The Hamas leader also affirmed that the Israeli security solution in the West Bank which is based on killing and destruction would never work with the Palestinian people whom he described as &ldquounbreakable&rdquo.
&ldquoThe only solution is for the occupation state to leave our land and Jerusalem and abandon its frivolous dreams and political myths and for our people to return to their homeland&rdquo he underlined.
