Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha has condemned the proposal submitted by Israeli planners and consultants to increase the number of Jewish settlers in the northern West Bank.
In a press statement on Thursday Taha said that this plan constitutes part of the systematic land confiscation policy adopted by the Israeli fascist government.
Taha affirmed that resistance is the only way to confront the Israeli plans against the Palestinian lands adding that such plans are bound to fail.
He called on the international community to assume its responsibility and put an end to such plans urging the Palestinian people to confront the Israeli settlement expansion plans by all means possible.
Last Wednesday Israeli media revealed details about a plan proposed to increase the number of Jewish settlers in northern West Bank areas into one million by the year 2050.
