The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) demolished Thursday morning a Palestinian-owned carwash in east Jerusalem at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Local sources said that the Israeli municipality bulldozed a carwash in the east Jerusalem district of Aisawiya belonging to a Jerusalemite young man.
During last July the Israeli municipality had demolished or forced owners to demolish about 58 Palestinian homes and structures in east Jerusalem.
The IOA imposes building restrictions on the Palestinian natives in east Jerusalem and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.
Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes in Occupied Jerusalem is believed to be aimed at psychologically destroying the Jerusalemite families in an attempt to force them to move from the holy city.
