The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Thursday at least 38 Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped 14 citizens from their homes in al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil amid clashes with local youths.
Two other citizens were kidnaped by the IOF from al-Khalil City and at a military checkpoint near Bethlehem.
In northern al-Khalil the IOF detained a number of young men in al-Hawawer area of Halhul town for a while before releasing them.
In Jenin the IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes in Qabatiya town and another one from Jenin refugee camp and clashed with local youths.
The IOF also kidnaped two residents of Jenin at military checkpoints in the Jordan Valley and Barta&rsquoah in southern Jenin.
Last night violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in Ya&rsquobad town south of Jenin.
In Nablus Israeli forces kidnaped a young resistance fighter after encircling his home in al-Yasmina neighborhood in the Old City. He was identified as Ekrima al-Khammash a member of the Lions&rsquo Den armed group in Nablus.
Israeli forces and their vehicles came under fire from resistance fighters during the IOF raid in Nablus.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed Aqraba town in the southeast of Nablus raided several homes and kidnaped one citizen.
Israeli officers reportedly took measurements of a house belonging to a local resident in Aqraba town after ransacking it.
In Jericho the IOF stormed Aqabat Jabr refugee camp and kidnaped three citizens from their homes.
Two others were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in Azzun town east of Qalqilya.
In Tulkarem the IOF kidnaped seven citizens from different areas mostly from the city.
Three others citizens were rounded up during IOF raids on homes in different areas of Bethlehem.
One was also taken prisoner by Israeli police forces in Shuafat refugee camp in east Jerusalem and another one from the Jerusalemite village of Biddu.
