The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) escalated their settlement construction confiscating large areas of the West Bank cities and villages.
The researcher on Israeli affairs Muhammad Sobha said that the government ministers had prepared settlement projects before they came to power.
Sobha clarified that the IOA launched unprecedented settlement projects aiming to intensify settler numbers in the West Bank.
He pointed out that the Israeli minister Bezalel Smotrich had prepared a plan to develop and establish 155 settlement projects within two years.
Smotrich presented an integrated settlement project to seize large areas of the West Bank he added.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also prepared a long-term project aiming to reach a population of one million Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Netanyahu government allocated 3.2m shekels to confiscate tens of thousands of dunums of Palestinian land for the settlement project Sobha said.
Since the start of the year the Israeli government has pushed plans to establish 12885 settlement units in the West Bank.
