Israeli bulldozers on Thursday morning demolished Palestinian houses in the Negev.
The bulldozers destroyed the houses that belong to the families of al-Ghannami and Abu Hlayyil after storming Abu Qrenat village in the Negev.
Walid Hawashleh a representative of the Negev in the United Arab List said that demolishing Palestinian homes in the Negev constitutes part of the ethnic cleansing policy adopted by Israel stressing that the Palestinian people will not be deterred by the escalating demolition operations.
Meanwhile the Israeli municipality staff and Israeli police delivered demolition orders against nine Palestinian houses after storming the al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan town to the south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Fakhri Abu Diab member of the Defense of Silwan Land Committee told Safa news agency that some houses were established before 1948 affirming that the demolition orders come as part of the Israeli plans to evict Jerusalem and seize control of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to Abu Diab the Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir had called for escalating home demolition in Jerusalem claiming that the houses are illegal.
