The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) announced on Monday evening its decision to suspend the entry of exports from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank through the Karam Abu Salem border crossing until further notice.
The Israeli measure will take effect as of Tuesday according to the local authorities in Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army claimed it had found several kilograms of material used in manufacturing high-quality explosives hidden inside the linings of clothes after searching shipments coming from Gaza at the crossing.
According to the Hebrew media the chief of the Israeli army’s general staff Herzi Halevi with the endorsement of war minister Yoav Gallant issued directions ordering a halt to the entry of goods from Gaza to Israel.
