Israeli arrests in West Bank demolitions in O. Jerusalem

Wednesday 6-September-2023

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an arrest campaign in several areas of the West Bank at dawn Wednesday.

Six Palestinians were detained after the IOF soldiers broke into their family houses in the Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil.

Two other Palestinians were rounded up in Beit Rima town west of Ramallah and Nour Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem.

Meanwhile the Israeli forces demolished a number of homes and facilities in the Al-Baqaan neighborhood in Anata town east of Occupied Jerusalem.

The military bulldozers stormed the town early today escorted by a large number of Israeli forces and started demolishing industrial and residential facilities.

Earlier Tuesday the Israeli occupation army delivered demolition orders against 50 Palestinian structures after storming Duma village to the south of Nablus.

In addition to homes and structures the demolition campaign also targeted a newly built road. Other military notices ordered local residents to return plots of land they reclaimed recently to their former conditions.
