The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) approved three random settlement outposts in the West Bank in preparation for transforming them into self-contained settlements Palestinian sources revealed on Thursday.
The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission Moayad Shaaban said that the so-called &ldquoCommander of the Central Region of the Israeli Army&rdquo decided last night to legalize three random settlement outposts.
The Avigal and Ashhil illegal settlements are located in al-Khalil while the third is located in the Jericho Governorate. The three outposts were randomly set up in 2001.
The move came as part of an Israeli decision to legalize ten settlement outposts last February.
Commenting on the measure the Hamas Movement said that the Israeli move amounts to blatant aggression against the Palestinian people and their land.
“We confirm that Arabs and Muslim Ummah and the United Nations along with the free peoples of the world should strongly condemn the Israeli colonial plans that are against international law conventions and UN resolutions” the Movement said.
Hamas also emphasized that such projects will not change the Arab and Muslim features of the Palestinian territories nor will they legitimize the existence of the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian people will persistently and steadfastly face these plans until liberation and the establishment of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital it concluded.
