The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) decided to renew the solitary confinement of prisoner Ayham Kammji one of the six Palestinian prisoners who escaped from Gilboa prison in 2021.
The Israeli Central Court in Lod renewed the prisoner’s solitary confinement until March 2024.
The Prisoners’ Affairs Commission stated that Kammji suffers from severe back pain and became unable to move easily amid total medical negligence.
The Commission slammed the Israeli retaliatory policy and punishment measures against the Gilboa prison escapees.
Wednesday September 6th marked the second anniversary of the Gilboa prison break.
