The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided different areas of the West Bank on Monday morning and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens amid clashes with resistance fighters in Jenin.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli special forces aboard a big van stormed al-Bayader neighborhood in Jenin City before they were spotted and attacked by resistance fighters.
Soon later the resistance fighters clashed with the special forces who received military backup.
Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and the Jenin Brigade announced in separate statements that their fighters showered Israeli troops with bullets and detonated explosive devices at their vehicles.
The IOF also carried out a similar raid in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp and spread in its streets.
One young man was reportedly injured in his leg by IOF gunfire during clashes between local youths and Israeli soldiers in Aqabat Jabr camp.
In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped eight citizens during raids on homes.
Four others were taken prisoners during IOF raids in northern Ramallah Jenin and Qalqilya.
In west Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Biddu town.
