Two Palestinian fishermen were injured by Israeli live bullets while they were working off the southern shores of the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening.
According to the fishermen committee the Palestinian fisherman Mazin Jamil and his son Faris were injured after the Israeli gunboats opened fire at their boat west of Rafah port.
Last Monday the Israeli navy arrested the two Palestinian fishermen Munib Shkuntana 25 and Nafith Salah 22 while they were working at Rafah sea.
Since the beginning of the current year Israel has carried out 232 attacks against Palestinian fishermen according to Al Mezan Center for Human Rights.
The Center underlined that Israel has arrested 30 Palestinian fishermen and left 18 others injured in addition to confiscating 10 boats since the beginning of 2023.
