Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Monday evening after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at protesters east of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that the two citizens were injured after IOF soldiers targeted Palestinian youths who gathered along the eastern Gaza border.
Hebrew channel 14 said that soldiers of the Golani Brigade opened fire at two Palestinians at the eastern border of Gaza.
Meanwhile Israeli soldiers fired tear gas bombs at Palestinian youths in Abu Safiyya area east of the Jabalia refugee camp according to local sources.
Earlier on Sunday six Palestinian citizens including three journalists were injured after Israeli soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at protesters east of Rafah city.
Since last Wednesday Palestinian citizens have been rallying along the eastern Gaza borders to condemn the repeated Israeli attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and to support Palestinian prisoners.
