The Saudi ministry of foreign affairs has held the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the consequences of allowing Jewish settlers to defile the Aqsa Mosque to celebrate religious occasions.
In a statement on Monday the ministry denounced the mass settler break-ins that happened on Sunday at the Aqsa Mosque under heavy police guard.
The ministry described the Israeli practices at the Aqsa Mosque as a &ldquoblatant violation of all international norms and conventions&rdquo and &ldquoacts of provocation against the Muslim nation.&rdquo
The ministry called on the international community to necessarily assume its responsibilities in this regard and work on ending Israel’s escalation of its practices in Occupied Jerusalem provide protection for Palestinians and make every effort to end the conflict.
