Member of Hamas’s political bureau Hisham Qasem has accused the Israeli occupation state and its partners around the world of making intensive efforts to isolate the Palestinians living abroad from their national cause describing them as &ldquofailed attempts.&rdquo
In press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) on Tuesday Qasem explained that the Palestinians abroad represent more than half of the Palestinian people and play a major role in defending their national cause and the Aqsa Mosque.
&ldquoThose Palestinians are active in geographical regions that are far from Palestine and they are influential in most capitals and cities around the world through their increasing activities that influence public opinion and political elites&rdquo the Hamas official said.
He also said that the Palestinians abroad play a prominent political role in delegitimizing the Israeli occupation and exposing its crimes against their compatriots and holy sites at home.
He highlighted the importance of the Palestinian events and moves organized abroad and the importance of the media and legal battle with the Israeli occupation in the international arena.
Qasem also warned the Israeli occupation government that its aggressive practices and violations at the Aqsa Mosque would lead to dire consequences and ignite the situation across the occupied territories.
