The Israeli occupation army delivered on Wednesday stop-work orders against 23 Palestinian homes in Qarawat Bani Hassan town west of Salfit at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources employees from the Israeli army’s civil administration escorted by soldiers stormed the northern area of the town and handed citizens stop-work orders against 23 homes nine of them inhabited.
In a separate incident Israeli forces turned the rooftop of a house in Jalbun village into a military observation post.
Chief of the village council Ibrahim Abul-Rub said that soldiers raided the two-story house of Khaled Abdul-Razzaq and placed an Israeli flag and a tent on its rooftop.
Israeli soldiers have been occupying the rooftop of another house in the village since yesterday according to Abul-Rub.
