A Palestinian teenager was killed on Wednesday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him during clashes with local youths in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho.
Local sources identified the martyr as 19-year-old Dhargham al-Akhras saying he was hit by a bullet to the head.
Some Palestinian media reports said that another young man was moderately injured and two others were kidnaped from their homes during the same IOF raid in Aqabat Jabr.
His death has raised the number of the Palestinians killed by IOF gunfire in less than 24 hours to six martyrs including one in Gaza.
Earlier at dawn 29-year-old Atta Mousa from Mirka village in Jenin died of a critical bullet injury he sustained on Tuesday evening during the IOF aggression in Jenin refugee camp.
Last night the Palestinian health ministry said that three young men were shot dead and 30 others were injured some seriously during the violent IOF raid in Jenin camp.
In Gaza the health ministry said that one young man was martyred and 11 others suffered injuries on Tuesday evening when Israeli forces attacked protests staged in different border areas in support of the Aqsa Mosque.
