The Palestinian wounded prisoner Ikrima Jamal Khammash 25 has been subjected to deliberate medical negligence at the hands of Israeli jailers in Megiddo prison the Asra Information Office revealed on Wednesday.
Khammash was taken into custody on August 24 2023 and was given a six-month administrative detention order.
Khammash was brutally attacked by Israeli special forces and police dogs during his arrest.
Khammash had previously suffered a severe injury from an explosive device which resulted in the loss of his left leg and right hand. He underwent several medical procedures while he was hospitalized for seven months in the Arab Specialized Hospital in Nablus.
Khammash also experienced nerve issues the loss of all of his teeth and a significant portion of his hearing. He requires close monitoring intensive medical care and specialized diet. However he is still detained in Megiddo without being charged or put on trial.
