IOF quells anti-settlement marches in West Bank

Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

Clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and the IOF after the Israeli soldiers fired live bullets rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya and in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus.

Three Palestinian citizens were injured by the IOF rubber-coated metal bullets while several others suffered breathing problems in Kafr Qaddoum east of Qalqilya.

Meanwhile clashes erupted in Khirbet Tana in Beit Furik town east of Nablus after the Israeli soldiers fired 50 tear gas bombs and forced the Palestinian citizens to leave the Ein el-Foqa spring.

In a related development Jewish settlers razed dozens of olive saplings and vandalized agricultural equipment belonging to the Palestinian citizen Mohammed Musa after storming Palestinian lands in Qaryut village to the south of Nablus.

Moreover Jewish settlers proceeded to fence off pastoral lands in the northern Jordan Valley as a prelude to confiscating them.

In another development Palestinian resistance fighters carried out a shooting operation near Kiryat Arba settlement in al-Khalil.

The IOF blocked all the entrances of al-Khalil in addition to conducting comprehensive search operations to look for the attackers.
