The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Sunday issued a travel ban to the West Bank against the Jerusalemite activist Khadija Khweis for six months.
The IOA decision which comes following the ban on her travel abroad in addition to barring her from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque only allows her access to her home.
Since 2011 activist Khweis has been subjected to repeated IOA expulsions from the Al-Aqsa Mosque as she had been banned entry to the Mosque and the Holy City for a total period of eight years.
Activist Khweis is an ex-prisoner who had been arrested more than 30 times. She had been banned from traveling abroad for a total period of four years.
IOA decisions come as part of the Israeli attempts to curb the influence of Jerusalemite figures and expel them from the holy city to facilitate Jewish settlers&rsquo raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque.
