The Israeli police forces attacked a group of Palestinians in the Bab al-Amoud square in Occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday evening and arrested a number of them including two children.
Jerusalemite sources affirmed that two Palestinian girls were dragged during the attack while a young man and two children were detained including an 8-year-old boy.
The detainees were later taken to Israeli investigation centers in Occupied Jerusalem.
Since the early morning hours scores of Palestinian citizens have started to flock to Occupied Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the Mawlid (birthday) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
On the other hand the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Tuwani area in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil carrying out a large-scale raid and search campaign.
The Israeli forces also abused a number of young men at the entrance of Dura town and detained two others after stopping their car at the southern entrance of al-Khalil city.
