Palestinian prisoner Kayed al-Fasfous on Friday continued his hunger strike for the 58th day in a row in protest at his administrative detention.
Palestinian Prisoners&rsquo Society (PPS) underlined that the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) moved prisoner al-Fasfous from Ashkelon solitary confinement to the Ramla prison clinic yesterday after a serious health deterioration due to his hunger strike.
&ldquoThe IPS transferred al-Fasfous to the prison clinic instead of transferring him to a civil hospital&rdquo the PPS said affirming that the IPS is practicing systematic medical neglect against al-Fasfous.
Last May al-Fasfous went on a 9-day hunger strike after Israeli occupation forces arrested him and held him under administrative detention. In 2021 he went on hunger strike for 131 days.
Al-Fasfous 34 from Dura village south of al-Khalil city is an ex-prisoner who spent seven years in Israeli prisons.
