Two Palestinian fishermen suffered injuries on Saturday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in the northern waters of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The wounded fishermen Atef Bakr and Mahmoud Bakr were rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance according to the local fishermen committees.
They suffered rubber bullet injuries when Israeli naval forces attacked them as they were fishing off the coast of al-Sudaniya area in northern Gaza.
Israeli naval forces and their gunboats are around Gaza fishermen almost every day harassing them shooting at them damaging their boats and making arrests. Sometimes fishermen are injured or killed during gunfire attacks.
