Palestinian youths clashed last night and at dawn Sunday with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas of the West Bank while resistance fighters carried out a shooting operation in Ramallah.
According to local sources the IOF stormed Beitunia town in western Ramallah which provoked violent clashes with local youths.
Eyewitnesses said local youths in Beitunia attacked Israeli forces and their vehicles with Molotov cocktails and hurled a hail of stones at them adding that resistance fighters detonated an explosive device during the IOF raid in the town.
Skirmishes also happened between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers in Ein Munjid neighborhood in Ramallah City.
In northern Ramallah resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint of Beit El. The IOF spread in the area following the shooting incident and fired flares into the sky.
In al-Khalil young men threw a homemade bomb at an IOF watchtower at the main entrance of Beit Ummar town.
Clashes also took place between Palestinian youths and Israeli police forces in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.
In Nablus the IOF kidnaped a young man during his presence in the central vegetable market in the city.
Last night the IOF also kidnaped a young man called Mohamed Abu Shakka a resident of Tubas on al-Marajat road in northern Jericho on allegations of his attempt to carry out a car-ramming attack.
