Three kids injured during clashes with IOF in al-Khalil

Three Palestinian children and one young man were injured on Monday afternoon during clashes in the central area of al-Khalil City and on the outskirts of Aqabat Jabr refugee camp southwest of Jericho.

According to local sources three children were wounded by rubber bullets and other citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during skirmishes with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in central al-Khalil.

The Red Crescent said that its ambulance crews provided medical assistance for three children and others during the events in al-Khalil adding that one of the kids was evacuated to hospital.

Eyewitnesses in al-Khalil said that violent clashes broke out in al-Shuhada street and Bab al-Zawiya area in central al-Khalil between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers.

They added that the young men showered the soldiers and their vehicles with stones and empty bottles and blocked some roads with burning tires.

Meanwhile the IOF stormed Safa area near Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil after one of its military vehicles was attacked with Molotov cocktails.

In Jericho one Palestinian young man was moderately injured during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces on the outskirts of Aqabat Jabr camp.

The Red Crescent said that one young man suffered a live bullet injury and received medical assistance from its paramedics before taking him to a local hospital.
