The Jerusalemite Commission Against Judaization has warned of dangers threatening Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque as the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) started nowadays to expel Muslim worshipers and activists from the Old City and the areas around the Aqsa Mosque and assault them.
In press remarks on Tuesday head of the Commission Nasser al-Hadmi accused the IOA of seeking to empty the Old City of Jerusalem and its markets of its residents and Muslim visitors.
Hadmi pointed out that the IOA targets in particular al-Qatanin market by allowing Jewish settlers to perform Talmudic practices and forcing storeowners to close their businesses early in the morning.
The Jerusalemite official affirmed that the Palestinian commercial stores in the Old City are an important part of Jerusalem’s economy calling for supporting them.
