Palestinian prisoner Kayed al-Fasfous on Friday continued his hunger strike for the 65th day in a row in protest at his administrative detention.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs underlined that prisoner al-Fasfous refuses to undergo medical examinations or take medical supplements despite his deteriorating health conditions.
The Commission added that al-Fasfous suffers from breathing problems acute pain in the back and joints in addition to suffering from severe weight loss.
Yesterday the Ofer military court rejected the petition submitted by the lawyer of prisoner al-Fasfous against his administrative detention.
Since the beginning of his hunger strike al-Fasfous has been held in the solitary confinement of Negev and Ashkelon prisons. The Israeli prison service had rejected his demands to be transferred to a civil hospital and transferred him to the Ramleh prison clinic instead.
Al-Fasfous 34 from Dura village south of al-Khalil city is an ex-prisoner who spent seven years in the Israeli prisons. He had been on hunger strike twice before in protest at his administrative detention.
