Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas has warned that it will respond strongly to the Israeli bombing of a high-rise apartment building in Gaza City on Saturday.
&ldquoTel Aviv will have to stand on one leg and wait for our earth-shattering response to the bombing of Palestine Tower in the central area of Gaza City&rdquo spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obeida said in a brief statement.
An Israeli warplane bombed on Saturday evening Palestine Tower with missiles reducing it to rubble.
A wave of Israeli airstrikes also targeted homes facilities and resistance sites across the Gaza Strip.
The health ministry in Gaza said that 198 citizens were killed and 1610 were injured during Israeli aerial attacks on Gaza. The number of casualties is likely to rise as the Israeli occupation army continues to bomb the densely-populated coastal enclave.
