Two Palestinians killed others injured by IOF in W. Bank

A number of Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) while two others were killed during resistance operations in the West Bank.

According to the Palestinian health ministry eight young men suffered bullet injuries including one critically during clashes in al-Khalil.

Six other citizens were evacuated to the hospitals of Qalqilya and Palestine in the West Bank the health ministry said.

Meanwhile resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint of Qalandia refugee camp east of Jerusalem.

Several IOF checkpoints in the vicinity of Nablus City also came under fire from resistance fighters while a settler car came under fire on the road near Arabbuna village east of Jenin.

Resistance fighters also carried out shooting operations against the settlement of Bat Hefer near Tulkarem and Kiryat Arba settlement in al-Khalil.

In the Jordan Valley a Palestinian resistance fighter was reportedly killed after he clashed with Israeli soldiers and injured one of them.

Armed clashes also took place between resistance fighters and Israeli soldiers at the Dotan checkpoint near Ya&rsquobad town in western Jenin while other fighters opened fire at soldiers near Shaked settlement.

In a separate incident a young man was shot dead after he tried to carry out a stabbing operation at the entrance of Ariel settlement near Ramallah.

In east Jerusalem local youths set fire to an Israeli police station in Jabel Mukaber neighborhood.

Meanwhile tens of thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of different West Bank areas to express their support for the large-scale military operation against the Israeli occupation which was launched by al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas on Saturday morning.
