Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas said that it was able to replace its fighters on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday morning in different Israeli sites including in the Negev desert settlements of Zikim and Sufa.
In a communiqué al-Qassam Brigades reported on Wednesday evening that a group of its fighters were clashing with Israeli forces in Sufa area adding that other fighters bombed a gathering of soldiers in Zikim area.
Earlier a number of Israelis were injured and fires broke out in Ashkelon after al-Qassam Brigades carried out another major rocket strike on the Israeli city.
